Belfast's electric gate specialist
I'm Adrian, the Gate Guy. For 25 years I've installed, automated and repaired electric gates, and nothing else. My base is on Stockmans Lane in south-west Belfast, just off the M1, so whether you're in Malone or Cavehill, Dundonald or Glengormley, I'm never far away.
The business is AutoGate Northern Ireland. Ring me and you'll speak to the person who does the work.

What I do
- New electric gates – wrought iron, composite or wooden, made to measure and automated.
- Gate automation – overground, underground or hydraulic motors for swing gates, and motors for sliding gates.
- Sliding electric gates – ideal for the short driveways you find all over Belfast.
- Automating existing gates – if your gates are sound, I can make them electric.
- Electric gate repairs – all the major brands, whoever installed them.
- Servicing – regular checks to keep your gates safe and reliable.

Questions people ask me
Do you cover all of Belfast?
Yes – east, south, north and west Belfast, and the towns and villages around the city.
Do you repair gates you didn't install?
Yes. I repair all the major brands, whoever fitted them.
My driveway is short. Can I still have electric gates?
Usually, yes. A sliding gate is often the answer on short city driveways. See sliding electric gates.
Are your installations safe?
Yes. Every installation gets the right safety devices and is force tested to BS EN 12453, and you get a Declaration of Conformity and the manuals at handover.
